New 6.5" Monitor Makes Big News in a 'Small' Market

The problem of integrating a monitor display, typically used in the design and manufacturer of small equipment such as Point of Sale/Point of Purchase equipment, ticket machines or weighing equipment has been a constant challenge to OEMs, System Builders and manufacturers.

The need of versatility with clarity, combined with the smallest footprint has now been successfully addressed by Kent Modular Electronics Ltd. with the introduction of a new 6.5" VGA colour display from their expanded range of metal cased LCD monitors.

These monitors are fully VGA (640 x 480 pixels) compatible and are housed in a strong metal cabinet that incorporates a metal shield over the TFT panel border, designed to greatly reduce the EMC radiation.

The monitor accepts a range of input voltages from 9 to 30Vdc and incorporates an advanced A/D board designed to accept an array of signal timings around the VGA standard. Set-up controls are at the rear of the monitor and once set will require no further adjustment.

A high brightness, long life TFT panel is used to ensure optimum visibility at all ambient light levels and the product is available in two styles. The 29LP065 is the panel mount version, bolted through an aperture from the outside of the equipment using the built in studs. The 29LS065 is a chassis monitor for fixing behind an aperture. Both are available with optional touchscreens and are offered with a fast delivery lead-time.
