Revolutionary SDI Monitor has Multiple Signal Capability...

Kent Modular Electronics (KME) the UK based monitor specialist is launching an exciting new range of LCD monitors.

These TFT displays have been designed specifically to address the special requirements of the Broadcast industry. Many signal standards exist in this market including the highly specialised Serial Data Interface (SMPTE Protocol) operating at 270 Mb/sec. In this new range, KME have set the standard for total flexibility in a heavy duty, metal cased design.

Equally suitable for Control Room or Outside Broadcast use, the 15.1" monitor (pictured) is housed in a strong desktop style cabinet designed to withstand a substantial pushover force. Alternatively it may be offered in a chassis version or rack or as a complete display head for Ergo arm, wall or ceiling mounting. The monitor is also available in 8.4" and 12.1" screen sizes and has International Safety and EMC approvals for worldwide sales.

The monitors include four separate inputs enabling the connection of 525/60 or 625/50 component digital TV, standard composite PAL or NTSC, S-VHS via a mini DIN connector and a standard XGA interface to enable direct connection to a locally installed PC. In the PC data mode the display will support screen resolutions from VGA (640 x 480 pixels) up to XGA (1024 x 768 pixels). Each of the input signals may be connected simultaneously and switched at the front panel. The cycling switch controller will automatically skip blank inputs and may be programmed to display the same input on power on.
