Mounting Solutions

With the steady decline in the use of bulky CRT monitors in the work place, the introduction of the LCD monitor has brought about many changes. The monitors are thinner, enabling more space to be available and generally improving the user interface. However if the monitors continue to sit on the desk or bench rather than being raised, these advantages are lost. In addition the introduction of Health & Safety regulations and the recognition of Musculoskeletal Stress Disorders (MSDs) associated with computer use, has encouraged the use of mounting solutions or Ergo arms as they are commonly known. Wall Mounts

Basic wall mounting solutions come with three different movement options. A single pivot offers either tilt up/down or angle left/right movement, but NOT both. A double pivot wall mount offers both tilt up/down and angle left/right movement. Finally the quad pivot wall mount offers double pivot movement but has the added benefit of an extra knuckle joint and sits 25cms from its vertical mounting position to the back of the panel.

We can also offer single and double swing arms that offer a maximum reach of 640mm and a Deluxe gas assisted arm with triple movement.

Desk Mounts

The Desk Mount arm can be offered in different styles to match your particular application. The basic unit is available with a 'desk clamp' fitting and is finished in grey. Adjustment is achieved via levers and knobs whereas the Deluxe range arms are gas assisted for ease of movement. Both versions are 'touch screen' stable and allow the user to set the height and angle of panels for maximum comfort and productivity. The Deluxe version is available in both 'through desk' and 'desk clamp' fittings with a colour choice of light grey or black.

The 'ErgoStand' version is offered as a basic height adjustable replacement stand, offering height adjustment, tilt, rotation and the option of portrait/landscape movement. They are finished in white, light grey, silver and black. Available with both 75mm and 100mm VESA options.

KME can also offer Desk mounts that enable the mounting of a number of LCD monitors from one central support. These can be supplied with either a 'free standing base', 'through desk' or a 'desk clamp' fitting. Manufactured from anodised aluminium, they are extremely strong and durable. Colour options include silver as standard, although black is available. Extra length poles are also available to achieve clearance levels. Available with both 75mm and 100mm VESA options.
